Thomas Allen

Thomas Allen is an paper sculpture that I have only come across though my work on this project, when I started being interested in building a set to display my characters I was asked to research him, and from my research he has become a very important influence in my work he looks at depth and the quality of layers and scale to add shadow and depth to this work. The background lighting is also very effective creating shadows and depth of field which is something that I would like to explore because the subject matter of my narratives are very sinister but my narrative style is very playful so to add more darkness and shadow might create more depth and tell the story of my set with more depth and horror a lot like the Nursery Rhymes themselves.
