The Guru Meeting was so helpful to me and it was the perfect time to started getting information about the outside world after we graduate because coming into the third year that's all I could think about, so having this talk with my Guru was really helpful to me.
Matt Bray is my Guru for the year, he is their to give me advice on my portfolio and any questions that I need to ask him in relation to his work and also the opportunity we have to go to London.
Talking to Matt about my work was really interesting even though we haven't got the same style of working it always interesting to hear about someone else's work. I shown me some of this work on his IPAD which was different but with the knew technology we have its like a mini portfolio but without carrying a massive A1 folder with me to see clients. He also advised me that if I am going to send out business cards to clients make them more personal so add personal touches and post them something they can keep as a reminder of you in-case something comes up and he is reminded of your work.
He gave me great contacts for websites and printing websites to get my work printed from for clients and my portfolio.
Overall it was a great meeting I took a lot of information from the meeting an I will be in contact with him for the year to disuse my portfolio.
