Into The Woods: The brothers Grimm hit Broadway with epic fairy tale where worlds collide. James Lapine & Stephen Sondheim take everyone's favorite storybook characters and brings them together for a timeless yet relevant piece of rare modern classic performance.
Fairy tales is the main focus point to my set design ideas and having mini crit's though the week allows me to generate more influence for my project and this was one of them. Into the woods is a similar method to my set design ideas but I am combining the themes of the Nursery Rhymes other than the stories in the books, I want to translate the horror of the Rhymes not the fairy tale part of the story. But from this influence it has become the one of the key elements of my Journal this year and allows me to become more inspired by this theatrical performance in my journal and this is also translating onto my project work also which is very exciting.
