Working with animals is something I can connect to extremely well. But to become as good children's book illustrator I need to draw children. This was one of the most challenging aspect of working on my book, gathering reference and taking photo's and using my family as models to make sure that the figure is right and also making sure that I draw it properly and translate that into collage was a big challenge.
In some areas for example the Third image with Princess Catherine crossing her legs, was a massive challenge to make sure her body was correct and the dress moved with her body and didn't look too stiff. But after working and gathering lots of evidence I finally came up with the right amount of images that reflect my characters movements, character and personality in different ways.
